An interesting and unique career opportunity has opened up in a special school we work in partnership with.

The role will be based in Sunderland where you will be required to teach students out of the school premises.

You will be required to in-bed literacy and numeracy in a non-class based environment where you will educate and undertake such activities as Lifeskills, Shopping, Banking, Horse Riding, Kayaking and so on.

The students you will be preparing for adulthood are school phobic children and those unable to engage in learning.

A driving licence and your own transport is essential and an additional part to your role will involve engaging and building relationships with parents, authorities etc.
