Lloyd Recruitment, the East Grinstead branch is looking for a Product Marketing Executive to join a leading employer based in East Grinstead area. The Product Executive role is to provide support in driving a successful travel - leisure product portfolio by maximising performance in line with revenue and occupancy targets.

Reporting directly to the Product Manager, the successful candidate will be required to support in exceeding current business objectives whilst also working to develop the UK strategy for new and existing products. This fast paced, varied role requires a confident marketeer who is commercially minded, numerate, literate, able to manage their time well, and work under pressure whilst delivering high quality documentation. Prior Travel / Leisure industry experience not required.

Key tasks will include:

- Assess, test and develop new product initiatives from concept through to launch that deliver a commercial benefit to the organisation and improved service to customers.
- Develop the programme of existing travel accommodation portfolio and support in post-implementation evaluations.
- Produce and communicate new and existing product developments to internal departments in the form of written product briefs and verbal presentations.
- Monitor accommodation performance, in terms of the occupancy and revenue. This will be delivered through evaluating, understanding and interpreting from a range of data sources.
- Produce performance review slides and commentary for the travel accommodation ahead of weekly trading meetings.
- Contribute to producing and delivering product pricing.
- A key influencer in marketing campaign delivery which directly supports the product.
- To actively participate, generate and implement ideas that will positively impact performance; and to drive forward any product development components as part of this.
- Influence, improve and sign off marketing material (online and print content) produced for a range of company website and print publications (website, magazine etc.).
- Manage commercial performance relationships with external partners, ensuring a robust two-way communication is maintained.
- Set up, organise and present at biennial meetings with external partners.
- Support other teams as required.

Key skills and experience required:

- Proven experience working in a similar product development, product marketing type role
- Literate and numerate, the successful candidate will be able to evidence experience of preparing and producing high-quality written reports and business cases for senior management
- Ability to gather, interpret data and provide insight and recommendations
- High attention to detail and a thorough ‘can do’ attitude is of paramount importance
- Able to communicate and tailor messages clearly and effectively to different audiences
- Strong organisational skills whilst working to tight deadlines
- Previous experience within a travel/leisure organisation preferable but not a necessity
- Must be available to travel UK wide when necessary
