Interim Group Financial Controller job in Blaenau Gwent.
Your new organisation
My client is a high-tech manufacturing business. The organisation has a turnover in excess of £5m and has been established for over twenty years. The organisation provides products to customers in the UK and Europe and has a large manufacturing site in Blaenau Gwent. They are currently looking to recruit an interim Group Financial Controller whilst they undergo a permanent recruitment process.
Your new role
Reporting to the organisation's CEO you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function for three companies within the group. You will be responsible for managing cash flow, producing management reports, preparing annual financial budgets, overseeing payroll, preparing annual accounts and managing a small team of staff. This role is full-time thirty seven and a half hours per week and is expected to go on for approximately three months whilst a permanent recruitment process is completed.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be a qualified accountant with a proven history working in other management accounting roles. You will have previous experience of using Sage Line 50 and be a good communicator. Previous experience of operating invoice discounting would be an advantage as would previous experience of managing a finance team.
