Our client is a leading, Public Sector organisation based in Reading.
Your new role
You will be vital in providing support to deliver a robust and pro-active financial planning and reporting service. In this role, your tasks will include budget monitoring, budget building and year-end financial accounting. You will be working in a matrix structure, where the Corporate Finance Business Partner and Senior Accountant will provide matrix management on tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience with Oracle Fusions and Line management of financial staff. You will be able to adapt to changing situations and willing to identify issues and drive continuous improvement. You will have the ability to communicate appropriately with a range of audiences on complex financial information, demonstrate good working knowledge of financial procedures and systems within a local government context e.g. knowledge of VAT.
