Web Application Developer £50,000 London, E1 ShortList Recruitment are looking for a Web Application Developer to join a software house based in the E1 area of London, close to Liverpool Street Station. The Web Application Developer will work closely with the development team, and will be integral in shaping the products. As a Web Application Developer you will be responsible for the design, development and testing of high-performance web applications and APIs. You will create these using JavaScript, Angular, Python, HTML5 and CSS3. The successful Web Application Developer must have a passion for good clean code and will have an creative personality. Key requirements for the Web Application Developer: - Computer Science Degree - Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience - Experience creating responsive and user friendly websites - Strong knowledge of: - JavaScript (jQuery/OOP) - Angular - HTML5 - CSS3 (SASS / LESS) - HTTP, TLS and security issues - Familiarity with Python and Selenium - Ability to explain clearly technical concepts If you have any experience in the following it would make your application for the Web Application Developer position stand out: - Experience of Python or Ruby on Rails - Exposure to D3.js - Commercial experience in an Agile environment - An understanding of retail finance products - Experience in the finance sector The role of Web Application Developer is based in London, in the E1 area, close to Liverpool Street Station.
