The Premier Pathways program has been created with the overall quality of the teacher produced at the end of the program at the nucleus of the design. The Trainee English Teacher will graduate their training with a PGCE from the University of Buckingham, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) AND 60 Master’s credits, but most importantly, having developed experiential knowledge unrivaled by any other course. The program wants the Trainee English Teacher to be as confident and prepared as possible when they go in to their NQT year. The school you undertake your training in can be tailor picked to suit your personal preferences and requirements as we believe that placing you in a comfortable and appreciable environment will enhance your experience, but also your teaching and prospects within education.

The ideal Trainee English Teacher will have a strong academic background, be a personable and willing individual and preferably have experience working with children in some official capacity. The chosen Trainee English Teacher will benefit from being creative, porous to additional information + learning techniques and will also have strong motivations to wanting to go in to teaching. The successful Trainee English Teacher will have a passion for their subject and take a proactive engagement with propagating why it is important both to the syllabus and to wider society. The chosen Trainee English Teacher will be compassionate and naturally lean towards pastoral responsibility, this is because of the nature of the teaching role and having to be a good listener as well as teacher.

The Premier Pathways program is designed to allow fluidity, freedom and flexibility through the stages of English Teacher training. The ability to choose how fast you progress through the teaching schedule and how quickly you accept additional responsibility means that no one is left behind and no one is pushed too far. The support network in place for the successful Trainee English Teacher will provide excellent advice and assistance whenever the candidate may need it. There are mentors, trainers, educators and additional Premier Pathways experts to help guide people if they feel they need help. Overall the program is a viable alternative to accumulating more debt and having less than 3 and a half times the class based experience than the next ITT program.

Please note: due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
