An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to work within a special school in Rochdale starting in January 2018. If you are a TA looking for a new challenge then this could be the ideal role for you.

We are looking for a motivated and inspirational Teaching Assistant. This Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting teachers and colleagues. Experience and understanding of a range of complex needs is necessary; this can be within Primary or Secondary settings.

This Ofsted graded 'good' special school caters for children aged 11 to 19 and aims to provide all learners with a personalised educational experience that will enable them to develop the skills to succeed after leaving education. Pupils have a range of complex needs, such as including Autism, physical disabilities, communication difficulties and General Development Delay. You will be joining a supportive staff team where the focus is maintaining respect and dignity in in a happy environment.

To join the QT team and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need:

*Experience or knowledge of a range of SEN such as complex needs
*Be able to build and develop professional relationships with school staff and students across multiple schools
*Excellent communication skills
*To be dedicated and committed to achieving success
