Helpdesk Desktop Support Analyst - Legal, DMS, Windows 7, Office 2010 Helpdesk Desktop Support Analyst required to provide first and second line support for a global Law firm based in London. Key experience required: - Demonstrable commercial experience in an IT Support role; either on a Helpdesk or Deskside Support team - Experience gained within a Law firm, or related to the Legal profession (professional services i.e. Insurance, Financial Services, will be considered. - Experience supporting Office 2010/Windows 7 desktop environment - Strong Word 2010 knowledge - ITIL Foundation certified an advantage An exciting and rare opportunity for a seasoned, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to be part of a team within this global Partnership. Working as an Helpdesk Desktop Support Analyst your key responsibilities will include: - Contributing to the smooth-running of the firm's helpdesk facility - Providing desk-side assistance and PC/Hardware support - Resolving IT Support issues, aiming to resolve as many calls as possible as first point of contact - To escalate calls internally and with third parties - Responding to ''How do I..'' queries Your technical knowledge should cover as many of the following as possible: - MS Windows 7 - MS Office 2007 / Office 2010 - Remote Access tools - Basic Network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP protocols) - Citrix XenApps - MS Exchange administration - Active Directory - User and Group Administration - Windows Server 2003/2008 Candidates should have a strong emphasis on customer service, and be able to clearly demonstrate what makes them a class above the many other IT Support Analysts working within the IT industry today.
