Calling all Maths Teachers looking for an exciting new challenge from January 2018! How would you like to secure yourself a permanent role in a thriving and highly regarded secondary school in Maidstone?

*** Permanent Maths Teacher required for this modern secondary school
*** Maidstone location within commutable distance from most parts of Kent
*** Role would suit an accomplished Maths Teacher seeking career progression or an ambitious NQT looking for a supportive school for first teaching role

Due to a retirement, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Maths Teacher to join this up and coming school. My client is an inclusive secondary based within a commutable distance from most parts of Kent. The school is justifiably proud of its recent Ofsted judgement of 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features and prides itself on ensuring each child achieves their full potential academically and socially.

If successfully appointed as a Maths Teacher, you will be joining a popular Maths Department that currently consists of eight full time teachers with a good blend of new and more experienced practitioners. The department is based in its own block with all lessons being taught in a suite of well provisioned Maths classrooms. All classrooms are equipped with data-projectors and a laptop and teaching staff also have access to an adjacent ICT suite. The department has a track record of impressive value-added scores and was also graded as 'Good' in its most recent Ofsted inspection. Your duties will include taking on classes across the whole KS3 to KS5 age and ability range.

To be considered you must be a charismatic Maths Teacher or NQT with a natural enthusiasm for your subject and a strong commitment to raising achievement. An innovative and infectious classroom practitioner, you will have been consistently acknowledged as a 'Good' or better teacher in your career to date whilst possessing the ability to work as part of a cohesive team or individually as required. Your well planned lessons should cater for all learning styles and have the capability to provide an appropriate level of challenge to students of all ability levels, including gifted and talented. Prior experience of teaching up to KS5 would be advantageous.
