Creative Support is a non-profit provider of care and support to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs and autism spectrum conditions. Our supported living services in Stockport support individuals with a learning disability to maintain their tenancies, live independently and achieve their goals.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner to undertake the position of Registered Manager for our Stockport supported living services. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced practitioner to shape the future of seven supported living services in Stockport and promote our energetic, person centred values of opportunity, choice and wellbeing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to recruit and shape a vibrant, enthusiastic team who are passionate about achieving positive outcomes for the people we support.
Your role will include:
- Ensuring the service meets all the standards and requirements of Creative Support, the commissioners, national frameworks, other stakeholders and the Care Quality Commission.
- Supporting and supervising staff (including Senior Staff), and deploying staff resources effectively to meet the needs of the service.
- Collaborating with service users, carers, and involved professionals to provide a service which maximizes outcomes for service users
- Developing the daily living skills of service users and supporting them to source appropriate accommodation or maintain exiting accommodation.
You must have significant experience of providing support to adults with a learning disability and a minimum of two years’ managerial experience. You must be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including weekends and bank holidays.
