Title: Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
Salary: 70,000 - 85,000 + 25% Bonus + Car
Location: Manchester

Client is a leading retail business in the search for a new Head of Financial Planning & Analysis.

The successful candidate will have a key role in helping drive and support profitable and cash-generative decision-making of the business, helping to ensure that the groups commercial and operational activity maximises to shareholder value.

Main Responsibilities

* Lead in producing effective Business Plans (3, 10 and 25 year) and Annual Budgets aligned to business strategies
* Write and communicate process timetable and instructions to divisional teams and ensure these are adhered to.
* Manage consolidation of divisional submissions.
* Produce high quality and insightful analytical packs to support each business plan submission.
* Analyse and challenge divisional submissions, providing summaries of issues to GFC and CFO to use in challenge meetings
* Produce final Board reports and consolidated written business plans and coordinate production of detailed written business plans for divisions.
* Generate a long-term financial forecast for the Group that will help to provide longer-term strategic parameters for the Business. Key focus to ensure that capital investment meets Group investment criteria and future capacity requirements.
* Provide and communicate budget, business plan and long-term forecast information to relevant external stakeholders e.g. Bank, Rating Agency, as required.
* Keep up to date with new forecasting techniques and technological developments and apply them where relevant to produce output that can be used to assist decision-making by senior management to support the company's commercial, strategic and long-term business planning objectives.

Successful Candidate:

* Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
* High energy and dynamic individual
