Project Engineer, Lancaster, FTSE 100 Organisation - £28,500 - £36,500 + up to £3,000 annual incentive bonus + benefits The successful Project Engineer will support the Project Manager and the Construction Manager in the delivery of projects from assignment to close out. You will have good communication skills to facilitate and chair meetings also good time management skills to ensure that the projects are delivered within agreed timescales. Main purpose of role: - Manage the delivery of small projects, jobs and tasks. - When required working together with Architect Engineers. - Facilitate and chair meetings. - Arrange and/or conduct safety audits and quality spot checks. - Comply with Investment Delivery procedures. - Apply internal and external standards and procedures to project activities. - Carry out activities that ensure the project complies with the Work Management Process. - Utilise Configured Document Management System (CDMS) in support of project activities - Attend factory tests. - Review and approve contractor documents as delegated by Project Manager. - Perform up front site surveys including liaising with designers. - Proof read and approve drawings. - Prepare Engineering Changes and manage the preparation of supporting and affected documents as required. Ideal requirements: - HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering. - Experience of working in an industrial environment. - Prince 2 or APMP Qualifications. - Negotiation, communication and influencing skills. - Commercial awareness and customer service skills.
