We are recruiting for a Senior Payments Analyst to join a market leading Financial Service organisation in the Tech industry. You will be joining an organisation with state of the art technology that transforms the ability for financial institutions to provide Current Accounts to their customers, resulting in faster and more efficient payments, whilst delivering complete financial inclusion. The Payment Analyst is responsible for making sure the payments, both in and out of a company, are made on time. As the Senior Payment Analyst within the business you will while others will handle both (bacs chaps and swift). You will ensure all incoming and outgoing payment transactions failing straight through processing are repaired accurately and within deadlines and on a daily basis, assist with the reconciliations process. Investigating and resolving customer, internal and/or external bank queries relating to payments in a timely manner and in line with service levels The Payment analysts is an essential part of this Financial Technology business, the employer is interested in review applications from payment analysts with skills in organization, problem-solving, communication and computers. Also, it is ideal that the analyst have great attention to detail, a solid work ethic and an ability to prioritise. The successful candidates must have in-depth experience of reconciliations within finance, banking or financial services. It would be beneficial but not essential if you had a Bachelor's degree in the financial discipline such as accounting. Business degrees with an emphasis in finance is also a good degree to have for this career.
