JLT Offer:

Apprenticeships Levels 2-5: Management, Team Leading, Property Services, Recruitment, Customer Service, Sales, Business Administration

Commercial: All of the above plus Coaching and Mentoring, a range of Health and Safety qualifications and construction NVQ’s

Key Accountabilities:

Undertake Internal Verification and Quality Assurance across a range of Apprenticeships

Develop, update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.

Coach and support a team of Trainers Assessors to ensure quality of assessment, teaching, learning and compliance processes are met

Lead standardisation, compliance and team meetings; sharing knowledge and experience with peers and colleagues to provide opportunity both to share good practice and to reflect on assessment and delivery approaches.

Lead in the planning and running of external quality assurance and compliance visits with all Awarding Bodies.

Carrying out observations of teaching learning and assessment, making, and effectively communicating accurate judgements, in relation to national teaching standards and the expectations of Ofsted

Produce reports and maintain records using information systems.

To support the transition to new standards, work with colleagues to develop programmes of delivery, validation of learning processes through to EPA.

To manage a small case-load of apprentices alongside IQA duties.

Person Specification

You will have previous experience of working within the education sector

Demonstrate genuine commitment to continuous improvement

Excellent communication skills

You will have an enthusiasm and passion to make a difference to your team

You will inspire, motivate and direct team members to highest level of performance

You will have the ability to analyse data and interpret into key actions to inform planning and improvements

You must be able to work independently and deliver against stringent deadlines

You will ideally have good experience of using the full Microsoft packages and a willingness and aptitude to learn bespoke IT packages - any experience of using One File and PIC’s systems would be a distinct advantage

Experience, Qualifications

Must haves: • Recognised IQA / Internal Verifier award (D34, V1, IQA) • Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS or equivalent) • Proven history as an IQA / Lead IQA • Significant experience of the application and practice of quality assurance, improvement and control

• A background of coaching and developing assessors and trainers • Excellent knowledge of SFA funding compliance • Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle • Willing to travel across East England, SE Midlands, (some travel in to London)

There is a requirement to pass an Enhanced DBS check - the cost of the DBS check is covered by the company
