We are recruiting experienced Lightning Protection Engineers for our client based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one the biggest Technical Services group with offices all over the United Kingdom. The main purpose of the role is to provide a quality service for the design,installation and inspection of the lightning conductor systems. Job Role: - To install and inspect lightning conductors in accordance with BS EN 62305 (The proctection of structures against lightning) BS7430 (The code of practice for earthing). - To ensure that instructions and procedures are compiled by the associated British standards and company regulations. - Prepare draft reports on matters relating to the company. - Assist in preparation of work orders and equipment. - To lias with management of the general maintenance of pool vehicle and equipment. - To participate in management meetings. - To lias with company training and development programmes to to meet work requirements. - Maintain deciline and act in accrodance with the company's procedures. - To ensure that regular safety inspections throughout the work area and feedback of results to supervisors. - To compile to Health & Safety regulations. - To participate in Health & Safety meetings. Person Specification: - The suitable applicatn should poses the follwoing peronal specifications: - Well presented, clean in appearance,well spoken aged 18-50 and in good health. - Relevant expereince in lightning prtection or other associated experience. - To be alert, intellectual and and to be quick thinking when making acurate decisions especially in difficult situations. - The ability to work at heights and outdoors. - Good communication and customer service skills as well as ability to work under pressure. - Physically fit and have freindly personality. - Highly motivated and ability to work effectively as part of the team and have excellent organisational skills. - Flexible and able to work any additional hours when required. - To have a good sense of humour. Salary:Between £27,000 - £35,000 plus company benefits including training
