Joining a highly successful, rapidly expanding software house within the fintech market.

Your new company

Hays has partnered with a Tech start up based in Berkshire. Your new organisation is seeking a Full stack developer to join their growing development team. You will be working in a fast paced, vibrant environment where every individual strives to do the best.

Your new role

Joining a growing development team, you will join a company that is rapidly expanding. You will work with similarly-minded colleagues to develop and enhance your new company's product portfolio, developing full-stack solutions. Our core technologies are currently centred around Python and cloud, however a fundamental ethos of ours is to always use the best tools and technologies that are at our disposal - providing you with an environment that will always stay at the forefront of technological thinking - an environment that needs a pragmatic, engaging and highly collaborative mindset where we all help each other. You will be involved from cradle to grave of development projects, with your expertise being integral at all stages of the full SDLC, including peer reviews and architectural input.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be able to demonstrate solid full stack development, using Python, especially server-side solutions and HTML / CSS and Javascript front end. You will enjoy participating in a collaborative and vibrant environment, keen to always produce solutions to the highest of standards and show the pragmatism and flexibility in enhancing and broadening your capabilities within new or different technology stacks. Experience of NoSQL would be highly advantageous, as would strong knowledge of web-based application architectures. You will have previously developed solutions within a Linux or MacOS environment and utilise standard development tools such as GIT. Ideally you are currently working within AGILE and above all else, you will have enthusiasm and drive to be part of the team open to all and every new idea.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will join a local team with a bright future. You will work in a highly-collaborative culture where your efforts and work will directly reflect our brand to the public and will shape our business in so many ways. We reward and recognise in many ways, with great social events, a friendly and relaxed working atmosphere and the opportunity to genuinely help shape our future direction.
