We are looking for a experienced credit control clerk for a SME in Flintshire.

Client Details

This business services business in Flintshire are looking to add a credit control team to the head office accountancy function reporting into the credit control manager and joining a team of 10 credit control clerks.


The Credit Control Clerk will be responsible for:

  • To support the Credit Risk team in the management of premium debt due
  • To act as technical reference to credit controllers
  • Ensure effective collection of due debt through processes that are in accordance with the businesses established collection and escalation guidelines
  • To provide first line of escalation to Credit Controllers and ensure risks/trends across the team are fed to the CRM
  • Proactively contacting clients to ensure prompt collection
  • Ensuring cashflow and debtor targets are successfully achieved
  • Developing strong working relationships with clients
  • Customer query resolution
  • Reconciliation of client accounts
  • Other duties within Credit Control as required


This role will require the credit control clerk to have the below skill set:
