The Role
In Change, we lead and deliver projects right across Swinton. We analyse the way we do things across our organisation, identify the areas we can improve on, and then we make it happen.
As our Delivery Manager you will be the businesses first point of contact into the change team and help them to shape and visualise their project needs.
You’ll operate as a true business partner to senior stakeholders providing change consultancy assisting them with the strategy and design of initiatives leading to their assessment for entry into the change portfolio.
You’ll manage the initial set up of projects/programmes, ensuring necessary interface from a technical, process and organisational perspective with the wider portfolio agenda as well as ensuring projects/programmes are effectively and sufficiently resourced and appropriate controls are in place.
Guiding a team of project managers, you will embed a positive culture across the project management function through mentoring, leadership and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for
An engaging, true business partner who lives and breathes change you will have experience of leading project and portfolio/programme delivery at a senior level and have developed large cross functional team in a transformation environment.
Utilising your strong planning and scheduling skills you’ll ensure the complex activities of interrelated project teams are controlled, co-ordinated and linked into the overall portfolio plan.
Experience of working with, building relationships and confidently challenging senior stakeholders is key, as will be your ability to produce and present clear and concise project plans and communications.
You’ll know the challenges of delivering new change programmes and be able to show where you have developed innovative solutions and worked collaboratively across a large business.
You’ll have a deep knowledge of the financial services industry with excellent awareness of relevant legal and regulatory issues and constraints.

Desirable
A background in Insurance brokering would be advantageous.
Qualifications
PRINCE 2 Practitioner Level or similar industryAgile or other relevant experience
