Job Title - Credit Risk Analyst - FX FinTech Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 + life assurance, healthcare, pension, gym membership/personal trainer, interest free season ticket loan, childcare vouchers Our client is a leading foreign exchange (FX) Fintech firm experiencing rapid growth and a significant increase in turnover in line with its strategic objectives. All areas of the company are expanding including counterparty credit risk which now requires a Credit Risk Analyst to join the team to calculate, monitor and report on any risk / regulatory related management information (MI). As a Risk Analyst your main responsibilities will involve: - Collate data from the relevant departments and perform the calculations of various risk reports daily - Circulate the daily CRD IV monitoring reports to Senior Management - Update the ICAAP as necessary - Review intra-day transactions - Collate relevant data to perform daily reconciliations - Act as the data champion of any risk related issues, including calculating the Mark to Market value of open positions, the client's margin positions (both Initial Margin and Variation Margin) and PFE reporting To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience: - Advanced Excel skills are essential - Research and/or analytical background - Good CRD IV, basic understanding of PFE, simulations etc. - Experience of mark to market calculations and collateral terms - Logical and systematic working routine - Problem solving skills and the ability to deliver solutions to complex problems - Strong educational background to at least degree level; working toward a financially related qualification is a plus In return the Credit Risk Analyst will receive £35,000 - £40,000 + life assurance, healthcare, pension, gym membership/personal trainer, interest free season ticket loan, childcare vouchers
