Your new company
This firm has a national presence specialising in serious personal injury claim. This has included brain injuries, spinal injuries, complex medical negligence and asbestos-illness cases. You will be joining a team of experts who act for people who have been involved in serious accidents or have a serious illness. This firm would be part of the Personal Injury branch. They are currently seeking a Personal Injury Solicitor to join their expanding team in Swindon.
Your new role
You will have your clients at the heart of what you do. You will be providing a proactive, effective and considerate service to the Team's clients. You will be effectively handling the client files (under supervision) and pay prompt attention to incoming post, emails and telephone calls. The work you will be involved in requires team work and strong working relationships to progress clients' cases and instructions. You will be responsible for planning and engaging in targeted business development activities to obtain appropriate work from new clients as part of the Team. You will be building networks of client referrers and developing your understanding of the market place both locally and regionally.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be 4 to 6 years PQE or equivalent with experience of serious personal injury. It is desirable that you have experience of handling higher value, more complex claims and a knowledge of the local Swindon market. You will need experience or knowledge of handling high value personal injury claims. You will be an individual who prides themselves on their time management and ability to work under pressure and prioritise. You will try where possible to turn problems into solutions and use your investigative skills and ability to analysis effectively.
