IO Associates are helping a reputable organisation recruit an Infrastructure Manager which is a senior leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, support and implementation of the specific IT needs and services. You will also represent and deputise for the CIO and will have direct involvement in the management of the IT function. Headlines Role: Infrastructure Manager Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Exceptional Benefits Location: Surrey Role responsibilities ·Responsible for developing, delivering and communicating the companies IT Strategy, policies, procedures, projects, systems and services. ·Identify key trends, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities to enable continuous improvement and efficiency in IT provision, and to exploit IT as a differentiator for the company's overall aims and objectives. ·Ensure that all relevant IT systems, services and support are delivered and communicated effectively and operate efficiently to satisfactory service levels. ·Responsible for the recruitment, management and development of a productive and responsive team of variously skilled IT staff ·Develop and maintain productive business relationships with external suppliers and internal colleagues, including contract and service level negotiation, to ensure that an effective and value for money IT provision is achieved. ·Provide IT expertise, input and support to the research funding process. This includes pre-bid advice on costings, integration and resource allocation, through to procurement, delivery and support of systems and services directly related to funded research. Essential Experience ·Substantial relevant management experience in the provision of IT services, preferably within a demanding, customer-centric environment ·Proven track record of professional service management in an IT environment ·Professional Qualification with a relevant degree/postgraduate qualification, plus a number of years' experience in similar or related roles ·Direct managerial track record with demonstrable skills such as coaching, motivation and managing performance ·Well-developed high level knowledge and awareness of general IT industry developments and innovations ·Well-developed understanding of IT security and cyber security best practice, risk management, BCP and data protection ·Membership of one or more relevant professional bodies or networks ·Project and Programme Management experience in an IT environment ·Experience of leading inter-departmental teams and project groups For further details please get in contact ASAP.
