An expanding company that supports young people who have usually disengaged from learning and need ongoing motivation and support is now seeking a Lead Tutor to manage the curriculum and up to five training centres, ensuring colleagues deliver its digital marketing and employability course to eligible learners at locations across the Black Country. As the Tutor, your duties will be to: - Manage a team of tutors and help deliver a digital marketing and employability course to eligible 15 - 29 years olds across the Black Country - Help equip learners with a range of essential skills that will enable them; to apply for a job with more confidence, present their personal skills in a more effective way, to understand how digital marketing tools can be successfully used in a business and to maximise their chances of gaining suitable employment. - Help set learners a series of personal goals at the start of the course and these will be assessed throughout the fortnight to ensure the course is delivering what they need. - Write a range of new courses to add to our growing portfolio of online and offline materials. To be a successful Tutor you will have the following skills and experience: - Experience of training young people, and can lead them to raise their achievements and expectations. - Previous experience of managing staff, monitoring KPIs and helping to continually develop course materials is essential. - Experience in delivering classroom-based business, employability and vocational skills courses would be desirable. - Significant evidence of first-rate, extensive occupational expertise and tutoring experience, exceptional references and enhanced DBS clearance. - A First Aid at Work, Manual Handling and Safeguarding qualification or training. In return, you will receive a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits. The first stage of the application process is to apply online.
