Accounts and Audit Role Slough Our client is a dynamic ACCA registered firm of accountants based in Slough offering accounts, taxation and business advisory and support services to a wide range of businesses and individuals. Their offices in Slough are spacious and fully air conditioned, free parking is provided to all staff and we firmly believe maintaining an informal, whilst professional working environment works best and this team collective approach runs throughout and the Partners are very hands on and very approachable. Established over 40 years ago, our client has built a fantastic reputation and has a broad range of clients. Currently they are looking for a new Accounts / Auditor to join the audit department. The successful Accounts / Auditor will have ideally between 3 to 4 years' experience working in an accounting practice preparing accounts and undertaking audit work (80% accounts 20% audit approximately). The position will equally suit someone who wishes to continue their career via a full ACCA study package or an individual who wishes to progress within a firm that recognises the ability to work hard and has chosen not to progress formal study. Either candidate will receive on the job training to further their skillset. Key attributes for successful candidate - Excellent spoken and written English as role requires communication with clients - The Accounts / Auditor will be professional and have an enthusiastic approach. - Driver with full licence. - Experienced IT user, familiar with various bookkeeping packages, Excel and accounts preparation software. - Ability to prepare end of year accounts to finalisation from client's books and records.
