Senior Programmer - Midlands - up to £50K + Bonus

A Midlands based Independent Games studio are currently looking to expand their development team, building on the recent success of their free to play title which has surpassed over 31 million downloads and has over 350,000 daily average users. The studio are now looking for a generalist Senior Programmer to collaborate with the Code Manager on with developing core gameplay systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with Game/Level designers, Artists and Animators in defining the gameplay systems of the title, such as player progression, UI, interaction, inventory management, bug fixing and player movement/controls. This role would suit a good generalist who likes to get involved with multiple areas and is a strong believer of creating fluid gameplay.

This role will offer you the chance to work with people on a day-to-day basis, who bring a collective portfolio of high-selling games. As a Developer in this team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and wear multiple hats, if you are a specialist or a generalist, there will be an opportunity to develop your disciplines and skills.

You will be working on games which have attracted millions of unique players and play a huge part in developing key features, which will enable players to customise a unique gameplay experience.

Requirements:

*At least 3 years' experience in the games industry
*Released at least 2 games on either console or mobile platforms
*Strong skills in either C++ or C#
*Experience with Unity 3D preferred but not essential
