You will provide day to day leadership of the stores team and assume responsibility for organising the stock control system. This will ensure that stock is always available when required whilst adhering to the agreed budgets and inventory controls Client Details The business I'm working with is a global market leader within the convenience food market and has seen progressive growth in the UK. Description The successful candidate for this position will have a positive can do attitude and possess the following skills and qualifications; *Engineering knowledge / experience for identifying stores stock spares *Computer literate, Word, Excel and Outlook *Knowledge of chemical handling *Previous experience of stores systems / practices *An appreciation of stock control systems *An understanding of SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) *Able to work using their own initiative. Profile You will provide day to day leadership of the stores team and assume responsibility for organising the stock control system to ensure that stock is always available when required whilst adhering to the agreed budgets and inventory controls. You will ensure that receipt, storage and replacement of engineering components is completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for completing risk assessments to determine the need for spares and conducting regular reviews of equipment, highlighting any damage and escalating any risks to the appropriate personnel so that it can be rectified. Job Offer Basic salary £32,000
