PCB Assembly Process and Development Engineer
Permanent Role
Salary - depending on experience + company benefits
Location : Nottingham, East Midlands

My client is a manufacturer of electronic devices to some of the best names in the industry; they are recruiting for a PCB Assembly Process and Development Engineer to be responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of circuit processing machinery and support the New Product Introduction process.

The Role
*Maintain all circuit process machinery
*Investigate and implement optimisation of the circuit machinery
*Support the NPI process by providing tooling for manufacture
*Develop plans and documentation to allow smooth new product introduction
*Support continuous improvement in respect to equipment and processes, ensuring the correct balance of cost, quality and output
*Provide day to day technical assistance within the assembly areas
*Maintain accurate data on the Company's MRP System
*Ensure that safe working practices are in place, documented and always adhered to

The Candidate
*Eligibility to work in the UK, no sponsorship will be provided
*ONC in Production Engineering or other relevant subject such as Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification
*General knowledge of IPC 610
*Substantial experience in PCB manufacturing, including some experience in the introduction of new products
*Capacity to thrive in a demanding and dynamic environment and meet project deadlines
*Good IT Skills
*Ability to interpret engineering drawings
*Analysis and problem solving skills
*Team player
*Able to prioritise own work and work flexibility
*Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safety conscious
