The company manufactures Pumps, HVAC, BMS and full turnkey HVAC and Pumping Systems and Projects for the clean water, waste water, commercial buildings, HVAC, Local Authorities, water treatment, sewage, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, nuclear, industrial, process, food, beverage, commercial, transport, emergency services, manufacturingand associated markets. ------ ROLE These 2 brand new roles will involve managing major projects (which can be multi million pound orders) for key national Accounts. Provided a direct engagement between the End Users, Contractors, Installers, Water Authorities, Local Authoirities, Framework Approved contractors and the companies manufacturing sites in a high pressure, competitive environment. Specified products and services to meet customer's exact requirements within the framework or tender, with authority to negotiate competitive pricing to win the order. Key responsibilities included: - Receiving the designs and plans for major projects on key accounts from the engineering and design team and working with them, the client and manufacturing to progress and managing the project. - Managing the full proposal, which include pump and product selection, costings etc. - Provision of pump sizing and section and prices on recent successful Framework bids to several large customers. - Reviewing the customers' requirements communicated via phone, e-mail or other media. - Working in conjunction with the project delivery team and external colleagues to generate a competitive bid, using tools to ensure the bid meets exact customer specifications. - Applying technical product knowledge to explain features, advantages and benefits to the customer. - Assisting the Finance / Credit Control Team to secure on time payment. - Processing the orders in a timely fashion, ensuring all Framework critical KPIs are achieved. - Providing after sales support, including service and technical help, assisting site engineers in the install of product. - Sitting on the Works Council and working with management team to resolve staff issues and implement benefits. - Delivered training to colleagues when spares support functions became part of the team role. ----- REQUIREMENTS - Ideally Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience (preferably Engineering based). - High level of computer literacy, particularly, Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel etc) - Ideally working knowledge of the Water Utility/ Contractor industry - Ideally working knowledge of the pump applications and systems. - Strong oral and written communication skills, to support significant interaction with numerous stakeholders both internally and externally. - Self-starter with a proactive approach and able to work on own initiative. - Confident and articulate with good communication skills. - Organised and capable of operating under pressure in an environment where priorities change frequently. - High levels of commitment, drive and enthusiasm. Any experience of the following:- Pumps, HVAC, Dosing, Building Services, Heating, Ventalation, Cooling, Air Conditioning, Booster Sets, Pumping systems, BMS, Controls, Building Management Systems, EPC's, Contractors, Installers, Distributors, End Users, Water Utilities, Water Authorities, Consultants, Main Contractors, Clean Water, Waste Water, Sewage, Water Treatment, drainage, Valves, Filters, Filtration Systems, Control panels, Pressure vessels, associated pipes & pipe work, storage tanks, biogas ,sewage treatment systems, environmental engineering, wastewater products or services, Utilities, including Electricity, Gas, underground networks, Civil Engineering, Building, including, Roads, Rail, Structures, Clean Water, Waste Water, Regeneration and Infrastructure, Earthworks, ground modelling, Marine works, Flood prevention, Surfacing, Lighting, Brickwork substructures could help but full training will be provided.
