Excellent opportunity to join a global asset management consultancy, working in their operational technology division. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the teams´ day to day operations and you will have accountability for financial results (P/L), customers, projects and people. Salary - £50K-£60K depending on experience plus excellent benefits package. The responsibilities comprise of but are not limited to: Management of the Team´s day to day operations based on; - Business plan goals and action plans - Financial results and budget - Resource planning and coordination within and between Teams. - Ensuring Project Managers have sufficient competence in Project Management to deliver the team´s projects. Management of the Team´s long term development based on: - Customer and market development, organization capabilities based on, Customer feedback and employee feedback Management and development of the Team´s business by: - Creating and developing relations with the customers personnel - Planning and implementing customer activities - Implementing Sweco´s Market Position - Leading tender work for the Teams projects - Follow up on projects for the Team - Systematically review and mitigate risks in projects - Management and development of the Team´s people when - Planning for and ensuring resources for the Teams needs - Using the Talent process and the Replacement planning - Implementing and maintaining people development processes - Supporting and coaching personnel on prioritizing and focusing in their day to day operations. Professional Membership and Qualifications: - Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline - Recognised professional qualification and /or membership of appropriate professional bodies relevant to the sector Skills, Knowledge and Experience: - Recognised expertise in the asset management Sector, with emphasis on Operational Technology - Knowledge and familiarity with operational technology frameworks within the UK water industry - Will have a demonstrable knowledge and operational track record in the field - Ability to develop strategic plans and monitor against defined financial and development targets - Ability to develop and nurture client relationships and manage key accounts - Ability to successfully manage or direct bidding and tender activity - Ability to be available to clients as required geographically - Proven knowledge of current portfolio clients and commercial arrangements - Proven experience in the management of teams and projects including programming, resourcing and monitoring - Ability in the leadership and motivation of individuals and teams - An ingrained culture of 'right first time' and ability to motivate juniors to achieve this Personal Qualities: - Ability to travel and work on projects as required. - Recognised expertise in the Sector - Leadership & good people management skills - Excellent communication and team working skills - Ability to spot and nurture talent within the team and develop all appropriately - Ability to recognise opportunities at a sector, customer and project level - Ability to understand the broader needs of the Asset Management business and the wider company - Ability to recognise, promote and apply innovation - A good all round understanding of quality management systems and processes, financial project management systems, business and commercial issues - Ability to manage a supply chain alongside direct employees including cash flow and risk - High personal credibility and professionalism within the business - Accountable for personal performance of the portfolio team Matchtech acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.
