My client a reptuanble SME business is looking to appoint a Payroll Assistant on a permanent basis. Duties of the role include; Processing of payroll documentation to ensure that payroll records are kept up to date Calculate monthly payroll to ensure that payments made are accurate and made in accordance with agreed timescales Ensure all monthly and annual returns are correctly submitted Liaise and support the Management team and Human Resources with projects that require financial input. Provide payroll information; deal with queries and requests from managers and Human Resources. Support production of monthly and annual accounts preparation Challenge of processes and identification of business improvements and cost savings both within finance and the across the business Other reasonable accounting and reconciliation duties as required Key Tasks : Processing of payroll documentation to ensure that payroll records are kept up to date Calculate monthly payroll to ensure that payments made are accurate and made in accordance with agreed timescales Ensure all monthly and annual returns are correctly submitted Liaise and support the Management team and Human Resources with projects that require financial input.
