Senior UX Designer - York Description One of our most highly valued clients, a large national private company has asked us to assist them in finding an experienced and creative UX Designer to join a project focussed multi-disciplinary team made up of a Product Owner, Senior Developer, Designer, Content Editor and copywriter`s to work on a strategic digital project. Key skill set - Strong experience in methodology and practices of UX with established hands-on experience in a working environment i.e. information architecture, Content strategy, UX, Research and usability testing. - Knowledge of CMS`s (Umbraco desirable) and transactional platforms. - Solid understanding of technologies that are used to create powerful user experiences including JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SQL. - Degree in HCI, Design, Social or Information Systems Sciences is desirable - Proficient in industry standard wireframing and design tools such as Visio, Omnigraffle, Axure, Adobe CS Suite, Sketch, etc. expected - Understanding of Lean, Agile and traditional waterfall project management methodologies - A portfolio showing wireframes, user research, and other UX deliverables Accountabilities - Take ownership of responsible products and communicate clearly and consistently with management. - Use essential information architecture and interaction design skills to take UX design deliverables through a full project lifecycle - Work with current segmentation to improve user types, scenarios, journeys, and develop strategic UX execution plan - Work closely with UI Designers to develop different fidelity wireframes, storyboards, and/or prototypes to work through concepts and conduct user validation testing. - Help improve UX processes and set documentation standards - Carry out internal QA tests to ensure deliveries meet initial UX/design specifications - Keep skills fresh and be informed of best practices, technical trends and developments This is a magnificent opportunity to show your skills and be part of a leading team!
