Minor Entertainment was created in 2009 to produce spectacular family theatre events in unique spaces. Over the last eight years our first production, In the Night Garden Live (ItNGL), has toured across the UK in a purpose built inflatable theatre and has been seen by over 800,000 people. About the Role We are looking for a full stack developer to work on the ItNGL website and on future projects as required. As the key developer for our team, you will work on both front-end web design and development and back-end systems operations, including databases and AWS server management. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Designing and updating our mobile responsive website - Implementing designs using HTML5/CSS3/PHP - Testing and troubleshooting pages on various browsers and devices - Maintaining and developing SQL databases and AWS instances - Deploying changes to CMS and live instances from development Location: London, SE1 Contract: Permanent, part-time (0.7 FTE), flexible working arrangements available Reports to: Online Operations Manager About You The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, and will need sufficient skills and experience to do the following as the sole developer: - Work with design concepts and develop mobile responsive websites, primarily using HTML, CSS and PHP - Maintain and develop databases using SQL - Interact with well-documented APIs, and work with external support teams to facilitate this when necessary - Implement load-testing plans for high-volume web events - Maintain and manage AWS instances, both EC2 and DBS, and implement changes to the AWS configuration when needed - Deploy changes to both CMS and live site We will also prioritise applicants who can demonstrate good communication and documentation skills, and/or who have experience working in an agile environment.
