The role - As a Senior Security Engineer for the Middle Europe region, your key responsibilities will be: - Providing highly technical specialist advice and expertise to the Regional Information Security head and Deputy - Ensure centrally produced security solutions meet regional requirements by identifying and managing the project requirements and key stakeholders for their region and communicating these to central solution designers and engineers - Work closely with group domain engineers, architects and designers as required - Deliver local bespoke security solutions if required - Manage security incidents to ensure timely mitigation and escalate to appropriate incident resolver groups and leadership as required Skills, knowledge and behaviour - To be considered for this role, you must possess or be able to demonstrate: - Broad knowledge of IT service provision concepts resulting from working experience in IT in a technical role (technical architecture, systems administration, information security analyst etc.) - Experience in working within a Security Management environment, such as Policy and Governance, Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance. - Preferably relevant qualifications in information security (e.g. CISSP) and direct experience with information security standards (e.g. ISO 27002) and regulatory legislation (e.g. PCI DSS) - Ability to take the lead role, strong communication skills, particularly the ability to influence and promote security principles - Strong team working skills. - Strong facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills - Good networking skills - Good understanding and awareness of customer requirements. - Ability to respond appropriately to customer needs.
