Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children. Unicef UK’s Foundation Partnerships team works to deliver significant income from private trusts and foundations, institutional donors and statutory partners. As a result of internal movement, we are currently recruiting for a Statutory Funding Lead to join this ambitious, high-performing team. You will oversee the team’s work with statutory donors, with a personal portfolio comprising £1m+ prospects and donors. You will manage and cultivate partnerships with trusts, foundations, institutional and statutory partners at the highest level, and you will have the opportunity to work with the Head of Foundation Partnerships on strategic planning, new team strategies and high-level activity and planning in conjunction with international colleagues in Geneva and New York. To succeed in this role, you’ll have a track record of successfully securing 6-7 figure gifts from statutory donors, including through face-to-face negotiations. An experienced manager, you’ll be able to support and motivate others to spot and capitalise on opportunities, open new markets, develop powerful cases for support, and engage new partners to deliver against ambitious targets in support of Unicef’s work for children. Closing date: 5pm, Tuesday 10 October 2017. Interview date: Thursday 19 October 2017. We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge. The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences. We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted. If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580. If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates. Registered Charity Nos. 1072612 (England and Wales) SC043677 (Scotland)
