Front End Developer : HTML5 / CSS3 / AEM : Global Oil and Gas Co. World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for an AEM Front End Developer : Global Oil and Gas Co. to be responsible for the delivery of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which will run in the end user browser. About the Role: - The Platform comprises the Group's prime digital presence and, as such, it is the company's online shop window to customers and a key business critical function. - There is an ever-increasing demand for both incremental and significant enhancements to the platform, from the External Relations and Marketing departments. - The platform is a state of the art AEM platform that currently attracts 44m visitors annually serving 170m page impressions to approx. - 140 unique websites, while also delivering to hybrid mobile applications. - Development of one of the world's leading corporate web sites requires global scope, exposure to leading web technologies plus a formidable competitive edge. - The team is a globally dispersed team consisting of multiple product owners, a release train manager, scrum masters, solution engineers, business analysts, developers, testers and a strong support team. - We have regular interactions with third party vendors for support, design, development and security. - This mature BizDevOps team follows a hybrid SaFe-Scrum Agile approach, which About You: Technical experience: - In depth knowledge of HTML5 - In depth knowledge of CSS3 (Less, Sass, Stylus is a plus) - Detailed knowledge of JavaScript (ES2015 is a plus) - Good knowledge of Node.js & NPM - Gulp or Grunt experience is a plus - Experience with reactive programming paradigm (Ractive.js, Angular.js, Meteor or similar) Proficiency at all stages of the SDLC, especially in the following tasks: - Design - Specification - Development - Testing - Release packaging Experience in a DevOps environment: - Linux - Apache Adherence to: - Software development standards - Agile methodologies - Quality assurance - Governance standards The successful candidate may be/have: - Adobe Certification (is a plus) - Experience with other Content Management Systems - Social Media - Mobile - Third Party Integration (APIs, XML, WebServices) - Browser Capabilities (Responsive Design, HTML5, CSS) - Technical - Puppet - Less, Sass, Stylus - ES2015 This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
