Area Engineering & Maintenance Manager Salary/Rate: £45,000 - £50,000/annum package, bonus and relocation Location: SOUTH Yorkshire / Sheffield area Our client is a large multi-site food group. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, we are recruiting two enthusiastic, self-motivated Maintenance Engineering Managers, a middle people management technical leadership position. Reporting to the Chief Engineering Manager and tasked with the development and delivery of the operational Asset Care strategy in your area, through the reduction of unplanned losses and improvement of the asset life cycle. You will be responsible for the reliability and improvement of mechanical assets, motivating and managing a team of multi-skilled craft engineers. You will be responsible for the identification and implementation of RCM and RCA strategies to ensure the achievement of on-site asset care targets: * Responsible for the implementation of World Class Optimised Maintenance Strategies, driving the lowest cost solutions for reliability across the site through effective predictive and preventative maintenance strategies * Responsible for root cause analysis, championing and managing corrective actions through your teams of engineers * Implementing Engineering improvement procedures and standards across all assets within the engineering function, supporting the development of the maintenance teams * Identify and deliver CAPEX related maintenance improvements * Mentoring, developing and managing a team of multi-skilled craft engineers Does this sound like you? The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in driving maintenance reliability improvements and asset care optimisation strategies through engineering teams within a busy manufacturing environment, having successfully applied continuous improvement tools and problem solving techniques. Qualified to HNC level ideally in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering, Asset Care Competence or an appropriate engineering discipline along with skills and experience in RCM, FMECA and predictability tools and techniques. FMCG/ Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance Management. You could be an Engineering Shift Manager ready for step up, or an existing Maintenance Manager hoping to secure a role in a large engineering department on a world class site undergoing further change and investment. People management experience gained within in a fast paced or continuous manufacturing process environment. A Highly career focussed and achievement orientated Engineer
