Senior Communications Adviser, Campaigns & Projects West London (W10) £40,000 Our client is a not-for-profit with a strong social purpose. They aim to enable happier lives and resilient communities by providing affordable housing; care and support services; and initiatives that tackle social isolation and access to better opportunities. This is a newly created role, which will be both strategic and hands-on, helping them to achieve their mission of good homes and better lives for thousands of people in London. They are looking for an experienced marketing and communications professional to support the Head of Communications in the delivery of effective and intelligent campaigns and projects for the Octavia Group. You will be expected to provide ideas, advice and guidance about communications approach and tactics to colleagues outside the Communications team to ensure that all activity across the Group aligns with their values and mission, and compliments broader communications ambitions and ongoing projects. You will have the opportunity to help shape the approach as well as to manage the delivery of some high profile and varied projects, which will require you to apply your expert communications and marketing knowledge as well as your adept project management skills. On a day to day basis you will help to improve the means and methods of how we communicate more effectively with residents, staff and other stakeholders and may be required to deliver all aspects of PR and communications activity including writing clear and effective copy, managing events, devising digital strategies and content; publications; generating PR and media coverage and from time to time dealing with crisis communications and direct marketing. This is both a strategic and hands-on role in their busy communications team. They are looking for someone with excellent writing skills, gravitas and solid all-round knowledge of marketing and communications who enjoys variety and making a difference.
