PMO Consultant - Contract - Asset Management/Investment Management - Financial Services. 12 months - £400-450.00 per day. Global Asset Manager seeking a contract PMO Consultant within the Technology and Change Project Management Office team. The team has responsibility for governance and reporting on global Technology and Change projects. Responsibilities *Recruitment Management - maintenance of Preferred Supplier List (PSL) of recruitment agencies *Project data - ensuring the PPM tool (Planview) is maintained and all project information is up to date and accurate *MI - producing portfolio status reports and MI, ensuring accurate high quality data, liaising with project managers to resolve any queries. *Financial Management - maintaining financial MI on projects, supporting project managers to track against budgets, liaising with Finance on reporting of actuals and forecasts, resolving queries, supporting the timesheet/effort tracking process. *Change Control - maintenance of baseline data on all projects and logging of approved changes. *Governance - maintaining project governance documentation and templates, improving governance processes in line with project management best practice, inductions for new project managers, ensuring governance guidelines are adhered to and providing support for project managers. *Resource Planning - supporting resource planning across the department through maintenance of an excel resource plan, ensuring the list of projects and resources is kept up to date and resolution of any issues. *PMO Maturity - PMO team members will take a proactive role in supporting the development of PMO processes and maturity in line with best practice, for example maturing processes around resource planning, project prioritisation, pipeline management, financials reporting, process automation/streamlining. The requires 5+years PMO experience, Educated to degree level or equivalent, Advanced Excel and MS Office skills, PM qualifications e.g. Prince2 or APM beneficial, experience of using a PPM tool (Planview Enterprise beneficial) Please apply for full job description and further discussion.
