Looking for a problem solving Data Analyst with expertise in Excel and exposure to web analytics for a leading broadcaster in London. You'll be assisting with preparing the regular, reliable and readable reports of our performance, usage - weekly and monthly analysis and social media campaigns from across our portfolio of social media accounts. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Collect and validate data from our analytical tools (Comscore) and 3rd parties (affiliates). This will include: - Preparing web traffic and VoD data for internal and external reports (PACT, US Studios, internal stakeholders). - Collating social media data on a regular basis and prepare it for weekly and monthly analysis. - Collecting and checking historical and current data from affiliates and prepare it for storage/backup. - Dealing with any ad-hoc data requests for internal/external clients - Identify issues with the data and raise them with the Data Analytics and Insights Manager. - Liaising with the affiliates to clarify and correct data. - Preparing reports either in Powerpoint or Excel. EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: The ideal candidate would be a graduate with strong numerical and presentation skills, and 1+ years of relevant experience in research / analytics for digital products and services, or media / advertising company. The core skills required: - Strong web and computer literacy skills: Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Experience processing data and producing reports using Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables is essential - Exposure to web analytic tools: Comscore, Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics preferred (desirable) - Exposure to Charles or other tools to UAT web analytics implementation (desirable) - Willing to learn how to use different analytical tools if required to do execute the job. - Strong analytical and numerical skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to summarise and present data in a clear, easy to understand reporting format to senior management. - Ability to work to daily, weekly and monthly deadlines and multi-task. - Self-sufficient, tech-savvy and a quick learner. - Commitment to quality and attention to detail. - Proactivity and a positive approach to the daily work and new / upcoming projects.
