Central London UX/UI Designer Contract: up to £350/Day - 6 months TEC Partners are working with an disrupter within the connected vehicle market who are looking for a digital Product Designer with the chops to help them get the mobile component of their innovative propositions to market - beautifully realised, a delight to use and built with the insights of real people at the heart of the design You will need to be passionate about building design strategies around insights from real people, with the mastery of craft necessary to turn those insights into a beautifully realised digital product. You'll be coming into an active project, doing your bit to smooth the transition from an agency team to an internal product delivery team, that has full responsibility for getting their product to market You and your experience - 4+ years experience designing (UI & UX) and shipping mobile applications, preferably for a consumer audience and including recent experience working across iOS & Android platforms. From ideation through prototyping and test, you can articulate your approach to getting the right results. - You're able to demonstrate your ability to prototype designs effectively (either in code or using a prototyping tool). - You can demonstrate your experience in developing overarching design strategies and using a User Centered approach to get to the right outcomes for our customers. - We're not a fully agile team just yet but we're headed that way. You have the knowledge of agile practice and real world practical experience in an agile team, to help our adoption happen smoothly. - You're happy with a large degree of autonomy. You'll take full ownership of your work, taking responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way. - You're a good communicator, able to clearly articulate the value of design decisions to your team and others in the organisation. - You're comfortable stepping into a newly forming team in a startup environment, where things move fast but process and structure is emergent. You'll play your part in helping us to mature our approach from a design perspective. - This is very much a hands on role, though some experience in a leadership/team management role would be valuable. - An obvious one but, we'd love to see a URL or PDF document that demonstrates your process and ability to turn ideas into meaningful creative outcomes. At Tec Partners we are committed to being an inclusive organisation that provides equality of opportunity to all in terms of employment, recruitment and the service we provide to our customers. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.
