The Northern Racing College seeks to employ a Fundraising Manager to join its enthusiastic, vibrant and hardworking team. As one of only two specialist horse racing colleges in the UK, this third sector provider delivers training for people in the racing industry. Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, it achieved Ofsted Grade 2 in 2016.

To be selected for this interesting, challenging role, you must have excellent written as well as verbal communication and presentation skills. You will be able to apply them creatively, imaginatively and with entrepreneurial flair to generate revenue and raise funds. You should have a record of success over several years identifying opportunities and delivering additional commercial revenue. In addition, you will have the ability to identify funding opportunitites and submit successful applications to trusts and other grant making bodies. While dynamism and determination to succeed are essential, detailed knowledge of horses or racing is desireable, not a prerequisite.

The package on offer includes a salary of £35K - £40K pa depending on experience, a contributory pension scheme, initial holiday entitlement of 25 days (+ Bank Hols) and free membership of the College’s Westfield Health Foresight Plan.
