We are working with a unique investment company based in Holborn who require a talented 1st line Support Engineer to join them in their HQ. This fast growing company is one of the most dynamic brands in London. The ideal 1st line support engineer will have some server administration experience with good customer facing skills. As a 1st line support engineer you should be a solution person and have a calm and methodical approach to challenges. 1st line support engineer tasks: - Provide IT support to colleagues - Provide support on phone and in person - Monitor server - Escalate issues to 2nd / 3rd support staff - Able to work on various technical issues simultaneously - Help fix both hardware and software issues - Able to help colleagues with a sense of urgency Skills required for this 1st line support engineer: - Good Microsoft skills - Able to help with server operating systems - Active directory - Excellent understanding of windows 7 Beneficial knowledge / certificates (not essential) - VMWare & Citrix - Active Directory - Relevant certification Revere Digital Recruitment are acting as an employment agency in regards to this role.
