Assistant Director - Marketing & Digital
Robertson Bell are recruiting a first-class opportunity for an Associate Director - Marketing & Digital for our Berkshire based not for profit client. We are seeking a highly experienced candidate across the areas of Marketing, Project Management, Digital Marketing, People Management and Change Management.It goes without saying that you will have a strong background in all areas of marketing and know your craft well, but it's also essential for you to be a digital marketing expert who can support the Executive Board to set direction for investments in marketing and the digital change programme being developed for the organisation, and to exploit the most effective marketing and digital techniques and technologies. Leading a team of three (direct reports and their teams) you will organise and manage the day to day activity of the directorate to meet the needs of the wider organisations effectively and efficiently, delivering the full portfolio of activity from hands on event management and social media content and strategy. There is a huge amount of scope within this role for you to make a difference. You will be working with an experienced team who are all about collaboration, transparency and doing a great job!Essential:*Excellent knowledge/strong background of marketing/digital marketing theory and application *Strategic thinking with ability to prepare and execute the marketing strategy, and delivery plans to meet the key performance indicators while remaining sympathetic to the ethos, value and culture of the organisation*Demonstrable experience supporting a diverse portfolio of marketing activities*Track record of leading significant change within an organisations marketing strategy*Senior position held within multi-site / large organisation*Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation*Has a leadership presence with the ability to influence and motivate teams in the wider business to achieve results*Confident networker with ability to build relationships with external contacts*People management and coaching skills*Self-confident and highly effective communicator and presenter*Highly organised, multi-tasker and able to prioritise a busy workload*High level of IT literacy in Microsoft OfficeDesirable*Experience of working in a not-for-profit organisation*Understanding of charity governance So, if you have the leadership qualities and skills needed and are all about digital first and you are seeking your next move where you can add value and progress your career we would love to hear from you.This is a full-time position although we would be happy to talk with candidates who tick all the boxes and may be seeking to work a 4-day week.
