Description

The role:

  • Process company's pay run every pay period
  • Maintains processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Compute payments based on time sheet records
  • Answer any questions about pay, deductions, and time records
  • Handle changes in tax status
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Complete reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review
  • Performs the distribution of weekly payment certificates and monthly statements

Profile

The successful candidate:

Accounting and bookkeeping skills, attention to detail, organisation Skills, data entry, good verbal communication with employees, record-keeping skills, follows instructions well, competent with spread sheets, familiar with payroll software, basic understanding of tax procedures, multi-tasking abilities, ability to work to a strict deadline
