Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer A cast iron forging company based in the heart of the industrial West Midlands require a Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer to join their outstanding team and provide shop floor and technical support. The company have been forging cast iron for well over 75 years and export to countries all over the globe. Your main duties will include: - Setting and programming gauges for shop floor processes - Creating and editing CMM programs for production using PC-DMIS and MetroLog - Inspecting parts for quality and ensuring parts are passed as conformant - Performing daily audits for non-compliance - Evaluate rejected parts and products on a daily basis The successful candidate will: - Have previous experience of using CMM Programs (PC-DMIS and MetroLog) - Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position - Be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines - Be able to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills - Show a willingness to learn and drive for continuous improvement The company are committed to working towards a zero defect manufacturing process.
