Front End Developer, ExtJS Framework Our client, an extremely successful sports betting and solutions company (globally recognised and respected) is looking for a highly skilled Front-End Developer with at least 3 years' commercial development experience, particularly with solid experience of the ExtJS Framework to join their technical team in central London. The Front-End Developer will be joining and collaborating with an existing multi-tasked front-end team and working on large scale new and existing products. Although a development role you would get the opportunity to start contributing to the software design decisions, help with managing the current scalable architecture, improving the CI/CD pipeline, unit testing and End 2 End tests. Despite being a technical role, the candidate should also be willing to bring in ideas and insights and to participate in the pro-active research and development being performed by the product teams. If you're an ambitious, talented, driven, enthusiastic Front-End Developer with skills and experience with the ExtJS Framework, then we really want to hear from you! *Please DO NOT apply if you don't possess any ExtJS experience* The successful Front-End Developer should have most of the following attributes and skills: - Experience working with ExtJS tools and themes to help improve development productivity and accelerate the delivery of great looking web applications - Experience working with ExtJS to help with application design, development, theming and debugging as well as build optimization and deployment - Experience in working with teams (more than 2 developers) - Able to demonstrate a portfolio of previous experience on large scale commercial solutions - Good JavaScript ECMAScript 2015/16 specification knowledge (TypeScript is welcome) - Familiar with TC39 Committee announcements, draft and proposal of ECMA (including stage features 2-4) - Active member of some online JavaScript community - Framework agnostic (capacity of working with a framework or without frameworks) - Good understanding of Jasmine, Mocha or another JavaScript Unit Tests Frameworks - Good understanding of a JavaScript E2E Framework - Comfortable using GIT based version control systems - Aware of modern JavaScript code bundling strategies (CommonJS, AMD, ES6) - Practical experience in building mobile oriented websites - Exposure to SEO considerations and Conversion/Retention Pixel based tracking systems. - Extensive understanding of browser capabilities Highly desirable skills / experience / stuff you would learn on the job - Degree in Computer Science (or similar) - PWA Commercial Experience - Writing NodeJS Applications (Backend) - Using Docker Containers - Functional and Reactive JavaScript paradigms So, if you're an ambitious, passionate, driven Front End Developer really looking for a challenge with a successful, fast growing company (currently 50 staff, but will be at 100 this time next year) then please click the "APPLY NOW" button and one of our consultants will call you ASAP - this really is an opportunity not to be missed!
