To work with the internal and external customers to support new and existing third party business applications software such as the ERP/CRM systems and other applications used across the organisation and in some instances by external customers and trusted 3rd parties. To define and document the functional, procedural, process and system requirements / specifications required to efficiently support these systems.. To work with end users to identify and resolve incidents, problems and service requests (e.g. system changes) and where required document detailed specifications for system enhancements and changes. Promote pro-active approach to identifying potential system issues and resolutions before they are identified by end users, Provide robust support for existing business applications including ones developed in house and also any new business applications and ERPs. - Experience with software development methodologies and practices an advantage. - Previous hands on business applications support experience is required. - Previous hands on software development and/or development of application interface experience an advantage. - Demonstrable business systems / ERP experience including proficiency in SAGE X3, including exposure to architecture and Directories, Folder Structure, Hierarchy and Inheritance,Users Menus, Function Profiles, Roles Access Codes, Security Configuration, Password Management,Auditing,Patching etc - Knowledge or experience of SAP By Design, including BPC, a distinct advantage - Experience in the management of business systems, track and trace solutions, authentication and security an advantage. - Able to produce clear documentation and communication of technical requirements, designs and configuration for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience of both internal and external customer interaction with specific reference to gathering, documenting and understanding customer requirements. - Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes. - End to end experience of the systems lifecycle is desirable.
