Fundraising Manager (Legacies and In Memory) Full time (part time considered) This is a newly created role following 18 months of successful piloting. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising this role would suit a professional who brings not only a track record in legacy and in memory fundraising, but also the ambition to be part of a small but growing charity that punches well above its weight, and a fundraising team that is enjoying much success and support. As Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for securing income from existing and new supporters. This is a real growth area for the charity and one which is pivotal to the wider fundraising mix. You will be joining at a time where you will have the opportunity to work with the Director of Fundraising in developing the legacy marketing strategy and taking a lead on the creation and implementation of the In Memory marketing plan. The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate both strategic thinking and hands on experience in legacy and in memory fundraising. You will be used to working to targets, to collaborating with team members and have strong writing skills which enable you to write compassionate and compelling copy. Although it is not even 10 years old this organisation has been recognised as a forward thinking professional and successful charity given its achievements in raising awareness, in finding new treatments, its provision of education, advice and support, and its close collaborative working with GPs and the broader health sector. If you would like to be part of a charity where you can see tangible results, where the team are hardworking and dedicated, and where the ask is clear, please apply. You will be part of a team which is striving for the prevention of the loss of lives of c3,500 women in the UK due to late diagnosis of this type of cancer. Whilst proud of its achievements since forming in 2009 there is clearly much to do. Interviews as soon as possible so please apply early.
