Floating Support Team Leader, central Reading 37 hours per week £27,000 to £29,000 per annum (pay review pending) 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays; 6.5% non contributory pension Launchpad exists to help clients turn their lives around and fulfil their potential. We are a registered charity for the homeless that supports Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged people. As well as housing clients, we also provide a range of services for clients. In July 2015, Launchpad developed a brand new dynamic floating support service, under contract with Reading Borough Council. Our Floating Support Service provides support with tenancy sustainment, advice and advocacy, life skills, budgeting, mental health as well as support on education, training and employment and ongoing challenges within housing. The focus is very much about the prevention of homelessness and our Drop-in Service is a key part of our strategy on homelessness prevention. In this permanent position, you will lead and motivate a team of generalist support workers delivering effective support to our clients who range from those with low needs through to highly complex. As well as inspiring the team and overseeing the day-to-day case management, with a focus on multi-agency and partnership working, you will deliver on KPIs. You will also deputise for the Floating Support Manager as needed.
