How will your career in Risk make an impact?

Are you known for your analytical thinking, and strategic planning skills? Would you like to work in a fast-changing environment for a FTSE 100 organisation? If yes, join us on our Risk Graduate Leadership Programme.

With over 25 million customers and a relationship with almost every household and community in the UK, Lloyds Banking Group makes a difference in the lives of millions of people. Advancements in technology are transforming our industry, and our Risk team ensure our business is prepared to respond to these changes, manage existing issues, and meet new challenges, in innovative, safe, and sustainable ways. For inquisitive graduates, it’s an exciting time to join our journey to becoming a financial organisation of the future.

What you’ll do

Our two-year programme offers several placements in different cities across the UK and will give you insights into the breadth of our business. You’ll develop project management skills; learn about risk analysis of strategies and products; or join teams in credit sanctioning, who help support customers with their borrowing choices. You could also help identify and resolve issues of financial crime, or work with our traders in monitoring and challenging risk positions and strategies – the opportunities are broad.

Your development

The scale of Lloyds Banking Group means there are more opportunities for you to learn and grow. From day one, we’ll empower you to apply your passions and strengths to the world of work – and inspire you to discover new ones, too. You’ll receive the tools and support you need to develop the career you want, includingmentoring, volunteering, digital espressos, internal Ted-style talks, helping Britain prosper challenges, volunteering and more. And, we’ll also fund and support you to study for a Chartered Banker qualification.

Entry requirements

We accept a 2:2 degree or above in any discipline from any university, and welcome a diversity of individuals – from DIY enthusiasts to art lovers and sports fans. Everything you bring to Lloyds Banking Group enriches what we offer to our customers and the community. We also offer flexible working, plus a huge range of benefits, so you can build a reward package that suits you – including private medical benefits and discounted financial products.

Join us, and be empowered to make an impact in your own way.
