Carers FIRST is a leading Carer’s organisation delivering services across Kent, Medway, Lincolnshire and Waltham Forest. We provide information, support and breaks for Carers and Young Carers. We have grown significantly over recent years and are now looking for an exceptional person to support this growth through effective fundraising. Working with the CEO and our Senior Leadership Team, you will research, apply and secure funding from relevant trusts and foundations, statutory and lottery organisations delivering on ambitious targets enabling us to reach more Carers who might benefit from our services. If you have a strong track record of successful trust and foundation fundraising (five and six figure level from charitable trusts and foundations, statutory and lottery organisations) with a communication style that inspires engagement, then we would love to hear from you. In return, you will benefit from working for a not-for-profit organisation that delivers a service which makes a real difference to people’s lives. We offer training and development to help you grow your career, good annual leave entitlement, flexible working options, childcare vouchers, access to our work place pension and Benenden Healthcare package. For more information about the role, please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification. If you are interested in becoming part of our team and believe you have the skills and experience we are looking for, please send your CV and a covering letter, setting out how you meet the Person Specification, to Recruitment@carersfirst.org.uk. All roles are subject to a Basic DBS check. If you would like to discuss this role confidentially please contact us and we will be happy to organise for one of the Team to contact you. Closing Date: 11th October 2017 Interviews: w/c 16th October 2017
